Our Organic Aloe Vera Plantation
In the Heart of Yunnan
The Aloe Vera plantations are located in the Yunnan province, specifically in Yuanjiang.
We chose to source our Aloe Vera from these plantations, which are renowned across Asia for their expertise and the quality of their Aloe Vera.
With 800 hectares, the Yuanjiang plantations are the largest in Asia and support the Yi, Hani, and Dai minorities living in the Red River valley, Yuanjiang County.
The plantation is situated in a semi-mountainous environment. This area is dedicated exclusively to the organic cultivation of Aloe Vera, with its dry climate making it a perfect natural setting for growing this plant.
Organic Farming
Grown in harmony with its natural surroundings, Aloe Vera is an auto-immune plant that requires no chemical treatment or additives.
Regular and carefully measured irrigation, along with sufficient sunlight, are enough for its growth.
The Aloe Vera producers in Yunnan are well aware of this and adhere to this 100% natural farming practice, which also helps protect the environment.
The plantation is certified organic by the French organization ECOCERT, and all products from the plantation are also certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC).
Within the plantation, water needs are met by a source that is preserved from any pollution.
The plantation's upkeep and harvesting are carried out manually by the local minorities residing there.
