Ingredient information
Description of niacinamide
A unique ingredient that regenerates the skin and provides a multitude of benefits. It is best known for its ability to visibly reduce enlarged pores and improve dull skin tone. It also strengthens a weakened skin barrier.
One of the benefits of vitamin B3’s antioxidant power is that it can help visibly repair UV damage while reducing the impact of other environmental stressors, including air pollutants. Another helpful benefit is that niacinamide helps fortify the skin’s surface against moisture loss and dehydration by increasing its natural production of ceramides.
Unlike many anti-aging hero ingredients, niacinamide is stable in the presence of heat and light.
The myths about its incompatibility with other “bioactive” ingredients have been dispelled. Research overwhelmingly shows the complementary effects of combining niacinamide with other key anti-aging ingredients.
